Experimentierort "Bei-Wilhelm"

Weißenburger Str. 9 - 11
13595 Berlin-Spandau

Since mid-2023, an experimental space for and with the neighborhood has been developing on the grounds of a church community in Wilhelmstadt: a place for meetings, culture, and urban development. The area is located in a district where open (cultural) offerings are scarcely available in the structurally underserved neighborhood. There is no library, no community center, or multi-generational house. In response to this situation and with the aim of establishing a Future Center for Urban Practice, a cooperative project was launched within this framework between the Catholic parish of St. Johannes der Täufer Spandau Südwest/Erzbistum Berlin, Sozial-kulturelle Netzwerke casa e.V. , and Berlin Mondiale gUG.
