Apfelsinenplatz

Joachim-Gottschalk-Weg 41

Until 2021, the little 900m2 square located in front of the community center of Ev. Kirchengemeinde Gropiusstadt was not utilized much. Ever since, the space underwent a transformation, as we built benches, a stage, and reactivated the printing workshop located in the basement, making it accessible to the neighborhood. We also repurposed a container as an additional room on the square. This space has grown to become an important point in the neighborhood of Gropiusstadt Süd and serves as a gathering point for individuals and communities to participate in different events and workshops such as riso and silk screen printing, stitching, music sessions, open-air dancing, and building!
