Calling all artists, cultural and urban practioners in Berlin!
Berlin Mondiale is excited to invite you to join the open Call of Solidarity for 2023. The theme this year is
We're looking for ideas, projects, and residencies that explore the practices of care and solidarity in our city. We want to develop and implement solidary approaches to the city with artists, children, young people, adults, seniors, and families from different neighborhoods in Berlin, to explore how spaces can be designed to promote solidarity and what expertise is needed to live together in harmony. The following questions can serve as inspiration for the theme: What does a city of solidarity look, feel, and sound like? What resources do we need to make it happen? And what is missing in our networks of solidarity?

Berlin Mondiale team would be happy to walk you through the application process, show you the spaces you can apply to and to answer any questions you have! The sessions will also offer insights, thoughts, and tips to help participants prepare a successful application.

Registration is needed. Please write us at bewerbung@berlin-mondiale.de to register yourself and we will send you a Zoom link to join the meeting on the dates of the info sessions.
You can register up until 2 hours before the start of our online session.
Who can join the Info-session?
The session is open to art and culture practitioners/urban practitioners in the context of asylum, exile, and migration in Berlin with a project idea that aligns with the open call - from freelance individuals, self-organised groups and collectives to artistic and cultural associations.
In which language will the info session be?
The info sessions will take place in German and English languages. There will be a breakout room in zoom for each language.
***We offer individual consultations with translations upon request to reduce language barriers when receiving information.***
