Stadtteilmütter Gropiusstadt is collaborating with artists and graphic designers Tanja Al Kayyali and Yaser Safi for a project that combines traditional food storage recipes with printmaking. The group will share old and new food storage techniques while learning the basics of screen printing techniques to create prints on fabric. The project will culminate in a participatory installation where the container at Cider Square will be transformed into a giant kitchen cabinet where the materials made by the participants can be stored, displayed, and eaten.
