CIVIC CITY - Participation, Politics & the Arts of Cohabitation is a podcast series featuring musical sessions in public spaces. The aim is bringing together artists, urbanists, thinkers, and administrators to discuss and envision the present and future cohabitation, work, and participation in Berlin.
On August 13th, we invite you to join the recording of the second episode at Dammweg garden. In this session we'll explore how we navigate and filter information in today's hyper-mediated environment, examining changes in information consumption, sources for staying informed about public projects, and the impact of information on shaping public opinion.
This episode is moderated by Fetewei Tarekegn. Our guests include Anna Homan (Ukrainian Artist & Film Producer) and Hossam aldeen (Syrian-German Journalist). Musical accompaniment will be provided by Louay Kanawati.
This series is a collaboration between ACUD MACHT NEU, Berlin Mondiale, tak Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg, and Aufbau Haus. It is supported by the DRAUSSENSTADT initiative, backed by the Senate Department for Culture and Europe, and the Foundation for Cultural Education and Cultural Consulting.
